  13. When you get a 600 dpi run of METAFONT trying to fill the 300 dpi
  14. needs of your printer, it usually means that you have installed
  15. the default version of config.ps, which happens to be for
  16. an ljfour.  You need to change the default printer name to
  17. something like cx and the default resolution to 300 
  18.  
  19. I don't know why you are getting emergency stops.  That is usually
  20. caused by keyboard input.  In fact I am not immediately clear
  21. how you can get it without keyboard input.
